About Dr. Sarpy
Sue Ann Sarpy, M.S., Ph.D., Founder and Principal, possesses over 20 years of Industrial/Organizational Psychology experience in a variety of academic and applied settings including the nuclear, construction, health, and art/entertainment industries. Dr. Sarpy’s work history combines theory, practice, and administration of organizational development in both government and business. Her areas of expertise include employee selection, training and development, performance assessment and management systems, social network analysis, and organizational effectiveness.
Dr. Sarpy leads and manages interdisciplinary teams to evaluate effectiveness and impact of a wide variety of organizational and community interventions including those emphasizing:
public health workforce development
emergency preparedness and response and resiliency
occupational health and safety
leadership and top executive development
community citizen science
minorities and vulnerable populations

Dr. Sarpy was faculty at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, during which she was Lead Evaluator for several research institutes including: South Central Center for Public Health Preparedness; South Central Public Health Training Center; South Central Public Health Leadership Institute; and the Center for Applied Environmental Public Health.
Dr. Sarpy currently is Program Chair of the Leadership and Organizational Performance, and past Chair of the Disaster and Emergency Management Evaluation committees of the American Evaluation Association.
She serves as Board member of the Collaborative for the Social Dimensions of Disasters, Non-Profit Council, and member of the Evaluation Community of Practice of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences/National Institutes of Health. She is Past President of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee Member of the Charlottesville Opera.
